Common Gaming Questions

Do you play on ultra settings or do you test on low-end computers as well?

Both. The RTX 4090 is worth it, but we definitely run it on a Steam Deck, on a laptop with a GTX 1650, and even on an office PC with integrated graphics. Optimization is also part of the evaluation.

Do you actually play the game multiple times before reviewing?

At least twice: the first time “as a normal player”, the second time with a notepad and calculator. The third time when the 40GB day-1 patch comes out.

How do you rate it? Are there any points for graphics/story, etc.?

None. The rating is simply the answer to the question: “Would I return to this game in six months of my own free will?” If so, high. If not, sorry.

And does it happen that you are simply too lazy to play a game?

It happens. Then we honestly write “it didn’t start from the first hour” and pass it on to someone on the team who can. It’s better that way than forcing yourself.
